Concert in the Park! Celebrating Summer Reading Club Festival - Nanaimo & Ladysmith Branches - with Peter Puffin's Whale Tales + very special guest Don the Drummer
Maffeo Sutton Park | City of Nanaimo, 100 Comox Road , Nanaimo
Join your local Nanaimo and Ladysmith librarians on July 25th from 5 to 7 pm for a free festival of fun and music at Maffeo Sutton Park!
Juno Award-winning children’s performer Peter Puffin brings his upbeat interactive show to town as we celebrate Summer Reading Club! You can sing along, dance, volunteer to help lead songs from the stage area, and so much more! Peter engages all ages (especially kids up to 12 yrs and grown-ups who still have a kid heart) with his catchy blend of bluesy folk and up-tempo, interactive, heartfelt songs.
A variety of community- and family-focused organizations will be joining us to share in the fun.
This event is free and everyone is welcome.
Bring a blanket, pack a picnic, and come celebrate summer with us.
Peter has been performing for over 15 years and he has won many awards, including a Juno. His legion of fans are “Proud Like a Mountain” knowing he is out there creating music that makes a difference for all of us.
Reasonably priced CD's, sheet music, t-shirts & other merch available to purchase. Peter loves to stay for a meet-and-greet, after the show, to meet people for autographs, selfies, & enjoy the post-concert vibe together!
We can even mail you CD's ahead of the event, if you wish. Call toll-free 1 (888) 878-3346, &/or send us a note of Facebook Messenger, and / or email us via the contact page on this web site.
